Knoxville bound
Well, This saturday I will be headed to big orange country for maybe a glimpse of hope and a win that would only be a ray of home in this long dark tunnel of a UT Football season. I'm very excited about knoxville. For even with a team with a 1-3 record there is nothing like Knoxville in the fall with orange everywhere, the VOL walk that will make anyone's heart pitter and the running through the "T" which I can only describe as one of the most amazing moments in my life as I sit here 22 years later. I live and breathe UT football as I always have and always will despite the loosing record, horrible quarterback and questionable coaching! Soo I will leave it at that and simply say... Go VOLS!

BIG ORANGE NEEDS A CHANGE
Clearly, for any and all Vols fans we have come to the conclusion that SOMETHING must be done and it needs to be done NOW! Many say it falls on the coaching staff, some say its a lack of leadership, and the rest conclude that our quarterback just well... sucks! I personally believe its a combination of all three. Granted, Compton pretty much is completely blowing it for us right now. In the game Saturday against Auburn he was 8-of-23 for 67 yards. During the fourth quarter, he was 0-for-6. These numbers are ridiculous for any quarterback but someone needs to send him the memo that he is playing UT football here and we are not accustomed to losing. We are known for having quarterbacks like Payton Manning for goodness sakes! We don't do 8-of-23. Against anyone. Ever. Finally, in this weeks press conference Fulmer aknowledged that something had to be changed and there will now be a legitimate challenge for the q.b. position. Crompton still annoyingly will not aknowledge that he is sucking it up! Maybe if he looses the starting position he will finally get the memo! We can only hope!!
